Lawyer and specialist in Labor Law of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, with more than 13 years of experience in specialized legal advice at the highest level on issues of Individual, Collective and Social Security Labor Law to companies and public entities.
For more than a decade, he has dedicated himself to advising and representing private and public organizations of different industries and economic sectors, in matters related to collective bargaining, strikes and arbitration courts, restructuring, reorganizations, mergers, divisions and integrations business from the workplace, collective dismissals in the scenario of closures of companies and operations and, in general, planning of labor structures and social security.
Invited member to the directors’ boards of different companies to discuss the planning of labor policies and other strategic business decisions.
During his experience he has stood out for accompanying two of the most important labor issues for the country. Advisor of Avianca S.A. in the collective work conflict with the Asociación Colombiana de Aviadores Civiles (ACDAC) and in 2017 was an advisor to the National Government, through the Ministry of Education, in the collective bargaining processes of the work carried out with the Federación Colombiana de Trabajadores de la Educación (FECODE) and the other unions in the sector.
Lecturer in the Collective Labor Law module in the diplomas issued by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota headquarters on Labor Law and Social Security. Also, in different discussion spaces on Individual, Collective and Social Security Labor Law at the national level.
Participant in seminars such as Update in Societies for Simplified Actions of Legis; Half a Century of Labor and Social Security Jurisprudence of the Labor Cassation Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice; Conflict Resolution of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana; Cooperatives of Associated Work and Labor Intermediation: Beginning of the end? Legis; and Procedural Labor Law and II Labor Orality Workshop of the Colombian Labor Bar Association and the Externado University. Also, of the Course in Conflict Resolution and Collective Negotiation for Professionals in Colombia of Cornell University ILR School.
